Christmas!

Christmas Eve Auntie Kina came over to do our little gift exchange, the kiddos adore her and loved playing with her with their new toys!  Later we went to Grandma and Papa H's for dinner just like normal.

This Christmas we got to announce to everyone that we're expecting, which made it extra fun!  It was actually a slightly less busy Christmas than normal.  We started out our day at home with Grandma and Papa G and Uncle Justin coming over for when Kayda and Dillon got up and gifts.  Here's the kiddos with what Santa brought them.  We ran into a little bit of a problem.  The kids were so excited about the train it was interesting getting them to open anything else... never heard of that happening before!
Then we actually had some downtime before going to Baba's for breakfast then off to Grandma and Papa H's for gifts.  We didn't end up having an actual Christmas day dinner this year, well we had dinner but it wasn't anything fancy.  Grandma and Papa G and Uncle Justin took off right after presents to head to Pullman because Aunt Kirsten and her family are moving.  We usually have dinner with them so we'll look forward to next year.

Sorry there aren't more pictures, we have video but I was just not feeling up to moving around a lot to take them.  Sad as that sounds, but most of you know pregnancy typically doesn't treat me well, though we get WONDERFUL children out of it so I'm not going to complain...too much!

Baby #3!

We've got baby #3 on the way!  Due on August 6th, 2011.  This will be the 5th grandbaby on Mommy's side, the 11th on Daddy's side.  Kayda and Dillon got to go to the ultrasound with us and see the baby (though you couldn't really tell it was a baby yet) and are both VERY excited.  Kayda wants a baby sister and Dillon wants a baby brother.  We'll find out in March!

Christmas Prep

Well, we took care of Santa pictures before Thanksgiving and we finall got all of our outdoor lights up along with the neccessary indoor decorations (tree, village, and stockings).  Hardly any of the gifts are ready but the kids are so excited!  Kayda even remembers what the stockings are for! "Santa come and put candy in here!"  She also described how Santa comes down the chimney, Dillon is just soaking it all in!

Growth Charts

I finally got around to hanging up the growth charts for the kids. Kayda and Dillon were so excited to mark their heights and I went and added their heights from all their past doctors appointments. I can't believe how big they're getting!!!  Best part is, if we ever move I just take them off the wall and bring them with us!
