We had such a good time at Disneyland last year that Daddy desperately wanted to go again this year so we headed down Saturday. BOTH sets of grandparents and Uncle Justin were able to join us! The kids did great on the airplane, though Dillon started to feel a little sick. At one point we actually had six out of the ten of us asleep.
We headed over to Disneyland after the flight down, Kayda wanted to do big thunder mountain railroad, it's her FAVORITE ride. Dillon gave it a shot, unfortunately it was dark and he wasn't a fan, he did try it again later during the day and didn't like it then either. He's just not a rollercoaster guy.
Carson was having a hard time so I headed back to the hotel before everyone else. The kids had a great time with Daddy! There was a band playing and apparently Dillon and Kayda started to dance. There were several people there that were enamored with them. Dillon danced so hard he got a side-ache!
We planned to go to the beach on Sunday but Kayda refused to go because she wanted to go in the pool. So we went in the pool and THEN went to Newport Beach. It was Carson's first time in the pool though I didn't put him underwater. The kids got to swim with all the grandparents! They had a blast!
It is much more difficult to take pictures with an infant so I don't have a whole lot from the beach. But here's Carson with Papa H, his first time experiencing sand!
Monday we were back at Disneyland, Papa H was leaving that night so we cram packed stuff in!
Dillon was beat!
Buzz Lightyear is Dillon's favorite ride!
Grandma H gave Carson an empty water bottle. He loved kicking it around and actually succeeded in getting it up to his mouth a few times! He's really starting to figure out those little hands!
Tuesday night we went to see Aladdin, it was actually pretty good! It's the first/only show we've actually watched at Disneyland.
Kayda braved the tower of terror and was NOT a fan. The story was a little too creepy for her liking. She was going to ride the "hot air balloons" to "cheer up". So she refused to smile again until after she had ridden them.
You can tell Kayda's trying NOT to smile yet. She wasn't cheered up yet.
Carson got to ride quite a few rides! Dumbo (below), Jungle Cruise, Disney railroad, Storybook Land, Buzz Lightyear, Mickey's fun wheel, and King Triton's Carousel. Not bad for 10 weeks old!
Oh look! More Big Thunder Mountain Railroad!
Look at that joy!
Mmmm... milkshake!
See Kayda's Rapunzel hair? Guess who she'll be for Halloween!
We made it to see the World of Color. The kids really enjoyed it!
This is the only ride they were able to sit alone to ride! But they loved riding it together!
Carson really took to his Mickey mouse. He loves to suck his nose!
On Mickey's fun wheel (the ferris wheel)
It was a good trip and we really enjoyed having time with all the grandparents and Uncle Justin (especially since he's about to leave on a mission)!
