Kayda's First Coach-Pitch Game!

Kayda had her first coach-pitch game on Wednesday.  They didn't have their shirts and hats yet, grrr...  She played left field and got in on the action a few times.  She did a great job batting.  She managed to get a good solid hit in every single time and even made it home once.  She was out at first base once it was a race against the first baseman but she let up when she saw him so he got there first. She didn't make that mistake again!  That girl can RUN!

Dillon's First Tball Game

Last Tuesday was Dillon's first tball game.  He was SUPER excited!  

He played first base and did REALLY well!  It took a few times for him to stop running after the ball (which no one else was doing) and just wait at the base, ready for a throw.  He actually got a couple of kids out, though in tball there are no outs so the kids got to keep running.

In this league the batter gets 3 pitches before using the tee.  Dillon was able to get hits without the tee both times he batted.

Sunny Days!

Last week was absolutely beautiful!  We had about three days of 70+ degree weather and it was fantastic!

This is from Easter, the kids were playing with Brileigh and Ashton by hiding, and re-hiding plastic eggs.

These guys were getting into EVERYTHING, they even found a deeper section of the "creek" and went underwater!  Of course Kayda did too!

Carson was feeling pretty shy but he was there.  He LOVES the river and will come home and repeatedly say "Have fun at river Mommy."
