Tuesday we met Grandma H, Aunt Sarah, Aileena, Ella and Chase at the zoo. It was a nice day at 91 degrees, pretty hot for around here, but we had a great time!
The kids like brushing the goats. As soon as they let kids in this goat went and stood next to the brush bucket ready for some grooming. It didn't move the entire time we were in there!
We're missing Chase in this picture, he wasn't feeling up to photos yet.
These are replicas of the jaws of a megalodon. I wouldn't want to go swimming with that thing in the water!
We got to touch sting rays! That was a new addition and Kayda was the only one of my kiddos that did it.
Meet Dr. Indiana Bones (the dog). He was the star of the show and the kids got to pet him and try looking for a geocache.
As they were talking about this tortoise all I could think about was Great Grandma's tortoises and the tortoises we had in California before we moved. We had one named Rosie that got squished by an older tortoise while her shell was still soft so she had a flat topped shell.
And of course, the carousel. Grandma H's treat for the kiddos!
