Carson's Second Birthday

Carson's second birthday was on Thursday. We made it QUITE the day. First thing in the morning we started off with one of his presents.

Carson has a tendency to steal his brother and sister's robes. He loves them. Now they all have one!

We loaded up and headed to Cabela's and the beach! Of course all the kids wanted to ride with Grandma and Papa G!

Carson LOVED the escalator. He kept trying to go back to it!

Off to Tolmie State Park to explore all those critters again!

Carson did NOT like walking out on the tidal flat but he loved walking in the little stream! He spent quite a while walking up and down it with Grandma G! He would point to the seaweed and say "bleh".

Then it was off to Red Robin, our favorite place to eat out for the birthday boy's lunch!

Grandma G was trying to put whipped cream on his nose! It didn't work out... he kept following the spoon everywhere with his mouth!

Later on it was off to swim lessons! And yes, Carson did do better with me ;)

Grandma H met us at the pool and watched some swim lessons, then we had dinner and came back home to open presents and eat cupcakes! Thanks Grandma and Papa H!

He blew out the candles the moment they were put in front of him so we had to light them again and move them away so we could sing!

I taught Kayda how to make a rose, she was enthralled!

Finally the day AFTER his birthday the other presents we got him came!

He refused to ride his three wheeled scooter, he always insisted on snagging either Kayda's or Dillon's so he got his own! He already knows how to use it pretty well too!

Hello dolphin squirter!

Cindus came and watched the kids Friday so Daddy and I could go on a date. Apparently the boys were having a great time with the floaties! Riding their sea pets!

And finally today we had our birthday party for Carson. We got to spend the afternoon with great people! Carson insisted in being on his new dolphin WITH Trenton. Heaven forbid Trenton got to use it alone! Notice Carson's smile, that is now his official "cheese!" smile!

Auntie Kina came of course and brought gifts not just for birthday boy but for Kayda and Dillon as well. She is so sweet!
